CURRENT BUSINESS

Jingle Bell Bounce – having it on 2 different nights was a success. We made approx. $250 profit combined.

Secret Santa Shop – The shop made approx. $1100 profit this year, which was higher than last year. Some of the expense was the ornaments we purchased that arrived late, but we will be able to sell them next year for a complete profit. We have been shopping after Christmas sales and will be attending Darlington Warehouse next year for more stock.

Donuts With Santa – Chairperson Lisa Murry was absent, but sent in a report. Attendance was approx. 100. We lost about $100 this year. We purchased a gift card ($25) for a Santa that was a fill-in after a family emergency with our current Santa. Lisa would like to start purchasing supplies for next year’s event now at the clearance prices.

NEW BUSINESS:

Soup and Story Night – Valorie Veld is organizing Soup & Story Night on Thursday, January 12, from 6-7:30. She has volunteers signed up to bring soups but is always looking for more volunteers.

Daddy-Daughter Dance – Julie Daly is chairing the event, with help from Tammy Luce. A sign-up sheet went around for volunteers.

5th Grade Camp Scholarship – PATT decided to give out 4 scholarships to 5th grade camp – 2 boys and 2 girls. We decided on the criteria to be used to determine the scholarship winners. It will be mased on attendance, grade, extra-curricular activities, citizenship, discipline, recommendations, and an essay.

Questions/Ideas/suggestions: Wendy LaFave-Pelton commented that she is looking into a fundraising project of selling car flags. We also discussed having a rollerskating night, family game night, spring lock-in.
PATT would like to purchase coats at after-season sale prices for Madison students. We decided if anyone sees coats/hats/boots/etc. for under approx. $5-6, then they should purchase a couple for our project.

End of Year Carnival – Tricia Fowler agreed to chair this event. She has previously done this with Addison School.
